Vacuum valve waterer is standard method in Europe.
Does the picker have enough capacity of drinking water for sow? By making environment which sow can get sufficient water, it reduces sow's diarrhea, misbirth, fever and asitia. It leads to reduction of medical cost and premix as it makes easier to maintain health condition. Also data shows that sow with sufficient drinking water produces enough milk to plumpen piglet then reduce feeding cost. Of course it helps to prevent summer weariness. |
