The BioInk is a semi-synthetic hydrogel supporting cell growth of different cell types (fibroblasts, keratinocytes, etc.) by providing cell adhesion sites and mimicking the natural exteracellular matrix. The BioInk is provided as a ready to use device to print 3D tissues. Critical parameters such as matrix stiffness cell adhesion can be tailored. Exclusively designed for 3D Discovery.
VARIABLE PARAMETER CELL ADHESION : control cell adhesion and migration through peptide density and matrix strength and stiffness. MATRIX STIFNESS : Matrix stiffness to control cell migration and differentiation.
Fibroblasts printed in a layer by layer mode in combination with BioInk. The dermis equivalent was cultivated for 7 days And the fibroblasts are stained with MTT. (dark cells; life stain)
